During Intervitis-Interfructa Exhibition at Stuttgart ( 22-26 April 2007 ), an international commission has acknowledged
the innovative properties of Proteotest, fruit of R&D Department's deep knowledge of tannins at Vasono Group.
For some time some researchers have been comparing the traditional tests for wine stability by stressing their differences
(Toland et al. 1996). The innovative aspect lays in a laboratory test for the evaluation of proteic stability of wines, carried
out at oenological conditions. PROTEOTEST does not introduce arbitrary alterations and turns to be the most truthful one
to simulate the proteic instability mechanism. The relative information leads to a higher preservation of the integrity and
sensory qualities of the wine to treat.
This test is carried out at room temperature and within few minutes it is already possible to get reliable results.
